5^Th international Shotokan F.S.K tournament

We Respectfully inform you that Shotokan FSK intends to hold its the fifth international competition called Persian Cup on 6-8/ DECEMBER /2023 in Fars province - Iran according to the following conditions.

We request that you glorify the tournament further with your attendance.

The technical instructions of the competition are as follows:

1-     Competitions will be held According to WKF rules in three sections: kata, Kumite and team kata. (If at least 3 teams are registered, team Kumite competitions will also be held.)

2-     Age groups including: children, infants, young people, adults and veterans

3-     Belt categories include: (Basic: Yellow and Orange) - (Beginner: Green, Blue and Purple) - (Professional: Brown and Black)

*Note: The yellow and orange belt category will be held only up to the age category of Toddlers A (10 years old).

4-     Veteran competitions are held only in the brown-black belt category.

5-     Participants in the sub-brown  belt kata section are only allowed to perform Heian Shotokan katas.

6-     Kata competitions are held as point based competitions.

7-     Having safety equipment (gloves, overalls and leggings, body and gum guards) is mandatory and will be enforced in accordance with the conditions of the federation and the opinion of the head referee.

* Important Note: In the team kata section, teams can be merged with a higher group and in case of merger are allowed to participate in a higher group.

- The presence of a coach and a supervisor to accommodate teams of more than 15 people is free. If additional staff members are added, the cost is borne by the participating team.

- weighing is the responsibility of the coach and will be done randomly on the day of the competition. In case of discrepancy, the player is disqualified from the competition.

Kata age group

The technical instructions of Kumite are as followed: (F=FEMALE_M=MALE)

The entrance fee for one section of the competition is 65$ and for each additional section  60$  will be received in excess of the registration fee.

Each team of more than 15 people is required to nominate one R referee and one j referee.

- Deadline for registration and submission of names is 01/ DECEMBER /2023 (Please note that registration will not take place after the mentioned date)

 For all the points not mentioned in the instructions and exceptions, the decision in the competition hall will be made only by the tournament holder.

To the notice of all representatives, coaches and respected champions, in view of the successful and glorious holding of three rounds of Persian Cup international competitions hosted by Shotokan FSK of Iran in the past periods;This style intends to hold its fourth international competition on September 21-23, 2022 in both men's and women's divisions. Therefore, all those who are interested are invited to participate in this competition to make the mentioned competitions more fruitful.

According to the public relations of Shotokan FSK Iran and quoted by Ali Asghar Pourebrahim, the esteemed head of style; The second FSK Shotokan International Tournament of Iran from 14 to 17 March 2021 with the participation of 650 participants from Azerbaijan, India, Serbia, Oman, Iraq, Croatia and the Islamic Republic of Iran (including teams from the provinces of Tehran-Lorestan-Kerman-Kermanshah - Kurdistan - Sistan and Baluchestan - Qom - Fars - Mazandaran - Khorasan - Khuzestan - Isfahan and other clubs inthecountry ...) was held.

In the total number of medals, Iran ranks first; Iraq won second place and Oman third place, as well as the total number of medals won by Tehran's domestic teams; Kermanshah won second place and Kerman third place.

Registration through the website of the Karate Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran

• Shotokan FSK Style intends to hold its second international (virtual) Tournament on March 4 2021 (Thursday) till March 7 2021 (Sunday), in 4 sections of individual kata, team kata, Kihon and kumite.
  The technical instructions of the competitions are as follows:

The competitions is the three categories of “yellow and orange”-“green and blue and purple”-“brown, and black”

Competitions are held in six age categories of “children – toddlers - teenagers - youth – adults and veterans

Age conditions of competitions

 so the kata in each must also be appropriate to that category of belt andis also included in the championship rulings of the belt category. 

Teams are required to send the names of the participants through WhatsApp till Sunday, February 28, 2021.

- Respected athletes that participate in the competitions must have their full karate uniform and with Islamic hijab and in a suitable space where there’s no need to relocate while performing.

-Video Submissions must have a good quality and for a maximum of 2 minutes and with a volume of less than 20 MB should be taken horizontally in front of the athlete without the camera shaking (the camera should be stil and without movements)

- Kata and Kihon films must be sent no later than 24 hours on Thursday, March 4, 2021

-The kumite techniques should be sent to 09183369488 on WhatsApp no later than 24 hours in Thursday, March 4, 2021

-The performance of kata must start with Rey and end with Rey according to the rules of the Karate Federation.  Also, the name of the kata should be very clear and distinct

-only the sound of the athlete should be heard, away from other sounds.

-Any change in the film (editing) will remove the player from the competition

-first name, last name, country and the name of the coach of the athlete should be mentioned in the video by the athlete.
